In 2024, Taicang Port cemented its position as a key hub for automobile exports in Jiangsu province, exporting 484,400 vehicles overseas—a year-on-year increase of 18.93 percent. This volume represented around 8 percent of China's total auto exports, securing Taicang Port's position as the province's leading auto export port.
Cars exported from Taicang Port reached 116 countries and regions across five continents, highlighting its significance as a major international logistics hub. As part of Suzhou Port, it plays a crucial role in China's coastal port network and integrated transportation system.

Suzhou Port achieved a historic milestone on Dec 26, 2024, by surpassing an annual container throughput of 10 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) for the first time. This made it the first port in Jiangsu province to reach this landmark and extended its 15-year streak as the leading port along the Yangtze River.
Taicang Port aims to enhance its logistics infrastructure and efficiency, further supporting the global expansion of China's automotive industry while driving regional economic growth.
